Club projector

There are many types of projector available, the one we need is one designed for projecting static images rather than movies. They are seperated into Home entertainment and Buisness sections, on the Optima website the HD230x listed above is in the Home entertainment section, static image projectors come in several native resolution standards.
- SVGA (800x600)
- XGA (1024x768)
- WXGA (1280x800)
- SXGA+ (1400x1050)
- UXGA (1600x1200)
- WUXGA (1920x1200)
Full HD projector prices start around £400 pound WUXVGA projectors start around £2500 and UXGA projectors £1000. I don't understand why HD projectors (1920x1080) are so much cheaper if they can project the same quality as WUXGA?.

I have my own but it could be useful for the club to have a hide. The cost is anywhere between 70 and 200 pounds. They are easily stored and would be a one off cost. Ken |
